Whether you are ready to retire today, tomorrow, or in ten years, this course will examine your retirement-readiness based on annual income and provide an estimate of how much you can afford to spend during retirement based on your life plan.

Learn how to avoid the ten biggest retirement planning mistakes to help secure a worry-free retirement. You will also learn several strategies for saving money on this year’s taxes.

There are several ways to fund your retirement; learn the advantages and disadvantages of each. Find out the benefits of converting your IRA to a Roth IRA, and whether you should make the conversion over one or multiple years based on your tax bracket. Review your employer-sponsored retirement plans and Social Security benefits so you’re prepared for future decisions.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Brad Tiche, AIF®, RICP® is president of Summit View Wealth Management in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Brad has more than 20 years of experience helping individuals and families create comprehensive wealth management strategies that are aligned with their personal goals. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Retirement Income Certified Professional®, he assists those who are saving for their children’s secondary education, planning for their retirement, preserving their wealth and enjoying their long-anticipated “golden” retirement years.

Prior to joining Summit View in 2009, Brad spent 14 years working inside financial brokerage and mortgage firms in the Pittsburgh area in the roles of branch manager, president, and CEO. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Pennsylvania State University, and is a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Fellows Program, University of Pittsburgh – The Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence. An educator at heart, Brad teaches adult courses at area colleges and universities and offers a series of retirement planning classes. A schedule of his upcoming courses is available at (link). With background in landscape architecture, Brad enjoys active farming and spending time outdoors. He lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Lisa, and their two children.
